Vertix provided transport modelling services for the new rapid transit system between Singapore and Malaysia. The multi-modal model included transit facilities, immigration checkpoint queueing, customs inspection operations, and fare gate modelling. The model objective and result was the optimisation of the station layout and right-sizing of the pedestrian facilities, including escalators, ramps, walkways, fare gates, etc.
